Use the words, phrases, images and ideas of scripture text to inform and shape your prayer. Word in Prayer, utilizes creative and contemplative ways of praying to dive into the text and swim around its depths and beauty.
Each Word in Prayer document contains seven ways to pray with the scripture passage. Prayer Visualization, Interspersed Prayer, Breath Prayer, Creative Journaling Prayer suggestions are provided for each Word in Prayer document. Other prayers methods, such as Release Prayer, Distilling Prayer, Prayer of Lament, and the Prayer of Review, are included as they fit the specific text.
Word in Prayer documents can be used alone, or in conjunction with a Scripture Echo reading, as a focus for a retreat or group experience. Word in Prayer can also be used for leading alternative ways of praying in worship. Leader's suggestions are included in congregational purchases.
